Kellen was inspired by the architectural and design genius of Piero Lissoni. Having a background in architectural design, Kellen has studied Lissoni’s work and passions for years, and became particularly intrigued by Lissoni’s draw to building in Miami.
The project is a series of fine art black and white photographs capturing beauty in wonderfully designed spaces from Piero Lissoni, taking cues from the modern and sublime design styles of Lissoni. This is Kellen’s first collection created in Miami.
This collection was shot in monochrome on the Leica M11 Monochrom and Leica lenses passed down from Kellen’s grandfather that were manufactured in 1957, giving the images a nostalgic feel and signature look.
“Sometimes,
it can be the most ordinary moment
that creates an extraordinary piece of art.”
