This collection was shot on the Leica M11 Monochrom and Leica lenses, capturing beauty in wonderful Miami spaces designed by Piero Lissoni.
The Leica lenses were passed down from Kellen’s grandfather. They were manufactured in 1957, giving the images a nostalgic feel and signature look.
Inspiration
Piero Lissoni
Having a background in architectural design, Kellen has studied Lissoni’s architectural and design genius for years, and became particularly intrigued by Lissoni’s draw to building in Miami. Taking cues from the modern and sublime design styles of Lissoni, this is Kellen’s first collection created in Miami.
The project is a series of fine art black and white photographs capturing beauty in wonderfully designed spaces from Piero Lissoni and taking inspiration from the design styles of Lissoni along with his draw to create wonderful art in Miami.
